Hazel & Grey are a husband-and-wife indie-folk duo comprising of Matthew Frederick and his better half, Caysha Leigh.

With a combination of heartfelt lyrics and heartbreaking harmonies, the twosome count the likes of The Staves, Simon & Garfunkel and First Aid Kit amongst their influences, whilst retaining the signature Cymrucana sound found in Matthew's work as both a solo artist and frontman of the Welsh Music Prize-nominated Climbing Trees.

Having performed alongside Welsh contemporaries Rusty Shackle, The Goudies, Joe Kelly and Tapestri as well as featuring at a host of festivals including FOCUS Wales, Between The Trees, The Big Retreat and The Green Gathering over the past couple of years, Hazel & Grey are currently writing their debut record, set for release via Staylittle Music in 2025.
